Lovely item. Great condition. A shade darker than normal (indicating that it may be Inanga Pounamu) but looks great with a light behind it as seen in the second photo. (Note that the line across the brooch is the outline of the pin).
Culturally significant. Can be blessed prior to changing hands if requested by a buyer of Maori descent. Measures approximately 38 mm long.
